Meet Sue

As a veteran of the Travel Industry I have been planning client trips since 1979 and for the past 20 years have been a member of the prestigious Virtuoso Travel Network of Luxury Travel Specialists. Growing up in Santa Barbara, California and the daughter of an Airline Navigator for World Airways I caught the travel bug very early in life. Actually...I started planning my first, personal trip to London when I was only nine years old. It took nine years for that dream to materialize but when it did, I have been seeing the wonders of the world ever since - with no intention of slowing down! There are just too many places I have yet to see and so many wonderful places I wish to see again and explore further.

I've seen a lot of the world...and I've seen it in diverse ways. I've been privileged to bring medical provisions and clothing to orphans in Russia and I've stayed as a guest in a true Italian Palace in Rome and so much in between. I have enjoyed Safari in South Africa, hiking in Patagonia, mountain biking in the Atacama Desert, cruising the Nile River in Egypt, exploring the Holy Sites of Jerusalem, hiking up Machu Picchu in Peru, touring by pedi-cab in Singapore, riding an elephant in Rajastan and explored the wonders that make up the Golden Triangle of India, including the jewel of Agra - The Taj Mahal. I secured an apartment in Florence for three months to study Italian and enjoy La Dolce Vita, cruised in Tahiti, the Caribbean, the Mediterranean, the British Isles, Canada and New England. I've salmon fished in Western Canada, rode horseback through Hyde Park in London and also through the sleepy town of Bucerias, Mexico, wandered the ruins of Ephesus, Turkey, Hot Air Ballooned over Capadoccia, Turkey, flew and ultra light over Victoria Falls in Zambia, Safaried in South Africa, Zambia and Botswana, rode a camel at Sunrise in the dunes of the Sahara Desert of Morocco, cycled the gorgeous Veneto region of Italy, sipping Prosecco amidst its vineyards and on and on...

I never grow tired of seeing the world and even when considering the beauty of Creation, man-made architecture, art and history, for me...the best part is the people. I love meeting the individuals who make up a community and my absolute favorite thing to do on a trip is go to a local, outdoor market, often with a guide who can help me communicate with the locals and help explain what I am seeing and sometimes purchasing! I'm always looking for a way to connect in some small but significant way. These are the travel memories that stick with me the deepest and longest.

As a result of all this, I have developed some amazing relationships both personally and professionally over the years and that naturally opens doors for those I am fortunate to assist with their travel plans. Sometimes it is about who you know!

Thanks for visiting!
